How do god see me

Therefore, God made known a righteousness from Him apart from the Law that comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe, being justified freely by His grace. This is possible because when His Son, who was without sin, became sin for us, God was able to make us as righteous as He is 2 Cor. When Jesus went to the cross He forgave us all our sins Colossians Those who had already died believing He would come to save them were in Paradise awaiting His atoning sacrifice.

When Jesus died, their sins were forgiven retroactively. Other believers were alive at the time of His death and received the benefits of His sacrifice immediately. Still others would not be born for many years, meaning all their sins were in the distant future.

Their sins would be forgiven as soon as they heard the gospel and believed it no matter how far in the future that happened. It also had to apply for the entire lifetime of each believer. But because it is true, God can now see us as if we always have been and always will be perfect. This is how He can guarantee our inheritance from the time we believed Ephes. Having already paid the penalty in full for all the sins of our life, He is able to regard us as being righteous, as if we never sinned in the first place.

From His perspective we are innocent, like the little child Jesus said we have to become. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus Romans Because of this, we can no longer be condemned for any reason.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him John None of the above has required anything of you except to believe that when Jesus went to the cross, He went for you. We may think we have to strive and perform to try and get God to like us. But, much of what we believe in our minds about God and ourselves may be fed by lies. Rather than calling us inept, unloveable, or hopeless, God has very different things to say about us.

For those who have come to faith in God through Christ, He says that we are both His children and a chosen race…a holy nation:. These verses do not speak of our being unwanted or our being seen as nothing. Yes, we have a lot of growing up to do even after we become believers, but there is much good news about how God sees us. He loves us deeply. In fact, he was known for being impulsive and lacking understanding of the mission of Jesus.

He brings out what He meant for us to be when He created us. Furthermore, He looks at our hearts, not judging us from the outside as people tend to do. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. He has a much kinder measuring system. How does God see you? This is very different from the way people size us up and from the way we compare ourselves to others. In Luke , there is a beautiful story of a poor widow who comes to the Temple and stops to give her offering.

Jesus is watching. She only puts in two small coins. So many others pass by and also put offering in the box, theirs being much more than hers but also what they could easily spare. In a book called Freedom From Addiction by Dr. Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you Hebrews Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him Matthew ?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things Romans ? Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom Luke God looks upon His children as loved ones that are part of Jesus. You are a new creation in Him. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come 2 Cor. God saved you by his grace when you believed. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us Romans But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood 1 Peter Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co- heirs with Christ Romans Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God John God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God 2 Corinthians Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it 1 Corinthians I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you John For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight Ephesians And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth Rev Therefore, holy and beloved, as the elect of God, I am chosen by God Colossians How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
