How many valor points occuthar
For a single Spec, you can almost add a third of this for some classes. I think with these numbers, Valor Points will be useful for quite a while, probably closer to a year for the casual player or players who also buy epics from VP vendors. I also feel the weekly cap should be closer to to make the numbers a bit more acceptable.
Before it is even possible for someone to collect and max their equipment, a new release will add new VP ii equipment that you can only buy after grinding out rep so another months to get max level equipment. I am thankful for all of the new higher level equipment and I am sorry if this comes off as "whiny", but I do feel that the time frame to upgrade it is way off.
If anyone else agrees, I think it should be submitted as a suggestion, over and over within wow's suggestion box. I'm also curious to know if the developers actually did the math before deciding on this system.
EDIT: This also applies in 5. Just with higher gear scores. Comment by NathanialJD Doing all the Thunder King dailies will get you cap for the week, tested and confirmed by yours truly. Comment by mjt I noticed yesterday that I wasn't accumulating valor points.
I wasn't near my daily or weekly cap. When I completed a quest that rewarded 5 valor points, they were not added to my toon. Anyone else having issues? Comment by walkman You can now also buy item level items with this if you have farmed some reputation in the Throne of Thunder raid. Comment by Wuxian With 5.
For alot less valor points than in 5. Very useful for people who are not fortunate enough to get PvE items in raids, just upgrade your old gear and you're good to go! Valor points will be useful again. Both stayed the same. Comment by Werich You can check this guide to see which dailies are the most effective to farm Valor Points. As of patch 5. Comment by Silvansaria I've been monitoring my Valor points vs.
Comment by 10drxtc Where do you trade valor for conquest? Comment by lecanard2 is there no valor to gold conversion? Comment by mstreddie is it possible to exchange Honor Points for Valor Points? Thank you very much,. The only exception is the ilvl neck, which can be purchased regardless of your reputation with the SPA faction. There is no date on the post, but the patch was applied on September 10, She is on the roof of the Niuzao Temple in western Townlong Steppes, at the rear of the building.
Displayed above her head, the title says "Valor Point Quartermaster" but she does not exchange any gear for Valor Points , only for Justice Points. Three trinkets are available regardless of the PC's reputation, but at least Friendly reputation with the Shado-Pan is required to obtain other items. None are low-cost, by the way. In my experience so far, no quest-giver -- or any other NPC -- is identified with the Shado-Pan Assault, at least not in the vicinity of the Niuzao Temple.
Confusion caused by erroneous data which is presented by the game per se reflects very poor software maintenance by the dev team. Blizzard has become infamous for its never-ceasing multitude of changes and "adjustments" because 1 they often do not to get it right the first time, and don't recognize it when they did, and 2 fix things that are not broken while broken things are ignored. It is similar to the "prototype method of software development" in the professional world, but in that world, it is much more carefully and intelligently managed.
Comment by Jerodast The Timeless Isle added in patch 5. The weekly is easily completed simply by doing the daily times. Done every day, it's a total of Valor, over half your weekly cap, for a relatively small amount of effort per day.
I hit the limit without even realizing it the first week it came out. The PvP Valor weapons are one of the most interesting rewards in my opinion. Unlike many other weapons in the game, they are moddable, which means you can upgrade them as much as you want, and use them as part of your max-level gear if you like the way they look. They each cost 90, credits, and each one requires a different level and valor level to purchase, ranging from Valor Rank 2 up to Valor Rank Just to be clear though, there is no such thing as true PvP or PvE weapons or armor — you can easily get one of these and take it in to whatever your favorite type of content is.
The PvP Battlemaster Armor sets are an interesting relic from the past that can often still be found on the player market. The Battlemaster sets were originally available near the launch of the game, and players who were actively playing PvP back then could get these set and also learn how to craft them through schematics. These sets can be bought or crafted by a crafter on either faction, but they change appearance when sent over. These sets require Valor Rank 60 to equip, even in the Outfit Designer.
These sets have two versions — the Rated and unrated versions. Just like the Battlemaster armors, you will need to track down a player who can craft these or find them on the GTN. Comment by wingram Let me try a couple of examples to see if I understand this: 1. If I also manage to farm valor, then I will be able to upgrade that ring to ilvl or rank 7 regardless of whether or not I have one of the achievements.
Upgrading an item that is Item Level Rank 6 or lower requires no achievement. And, even I get this achievement, I will only be able to upgrade the ring to ilvl This seems inconsistent and rather unfair. So what's the point of farming valor?
Comment by Outlier Hypothetical: Patch drops today and I somehow manage to obtain and spend exactly 5, valor points on upgrading gear. I have reached the cap. Next tuesday, the cap increases by Does that mean next week I only have points to spend, or does the entire pool reset so i'd be able to earn next week? I think I know the answer to this, but it seems sad that you can only upgrade what..
This isn't the same as conquest because you only pay the initial price for conquest gear and then upgrades are infinitely obtainable honor.. Comment by SpookRooster completely useless. That seems pretty garbage, kind of like giving tax breaks to the already uber rich.
Seems like there's no point in this unless you're already timing high keys. Comment by kevlarbest What NPC do we use to upgrade our gear?
Comment by khaeli NONE of the guides explain where to upgrade the gear? Can anybody please share? Comment by livie "The fastest way to farm Valor Points is to farm level level Keystones. Comment by morgath99 heard there was a valor vendor where you can trade mats for valor points is that a thing?
Comment by MsBrightside Valor points - you may upgrade you gear!
